The Content Moderation Specialist will be responsible for

monitoring and moderating content across the Wahda platform using moderation tools, AI systems, and

live stream monitoring capabilities.

This role will focus on automated content filtering, live stream moderation, content escalations,

and moderation system performance. The specialist will work closely with the Content Moderation Lead,

Trust & Safety, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure platform safety and effective moderation

operations.

• Review and moderate content flagged by AI moderation systems, including text, images, videos, and live streams.
• Monitor and manage automated content filtering tools to ensure effective detection of policy violations.
• Support real-time moderation of live streams and take appropriate action when violations occur.
• Review and manage content escalations requiring human intervention.
• Monitor moderation tools, dashboards, and system performance, reporting issues when necessary.
• Identify false positives and false negatives within moderation systems and provide feedback for improvement.
• Support quality checks on automated translations and culturally sensitive content.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to improve moderation tools and workflows.
• Maintain accurate records of moderation decisions, escalations, and incidents.
• Ensure moderation activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and community guidelines

• 3+ years of experience in Content Moderation, Trust & Safety, Community Operations, or a related field.

Experience using moderation tools, AI-assisted review platforms, or content management systems. • Experience with live stream moderation is preferred. • Strong attention to detail and ability to make quick decisions. • Professional proficiency in English is required. • Understanding of Muslim cultures and community values is highly desirable.
